This must be the quirkiest Lego set ever made

This must be the quirkiest Lego set ever made

We finally have some better images of just about all of the recently leaked 2015 Lego City sets. The most important of these is the above Service Truck (60073) which comes complete with a portable toilet—which is even weirder than Speedo minifig. There are some other great sets as well.

Swamp Police Station (60069) - This set proves that Lego puts police stations everywhere. Criminals, even ones equipped with super sweet air boats, can't poach alligators without facing the rozzers.

Helicopter Pursuit (60067) - Yet another take on the police helicopter. We've seen this a bunch of times, now there is a swampy themed one. This set does have a pretty great speed boat for the baddie and one of the new gators.

Demolition Starter Set (60072) - I really dig these starter sets that Lego has been putting out these last few years. They are always minifigure heavy and feature great elements. This one has an overflowing toilet, what more could you want?

Service Truck (60073) - My favorite of the group. The first question that always seems to come up when kids talk to anyone about their job is, "Where do you poop?" Where do Lego figs poop? Now you know.

Demolition Site (60076) - I can't get enough of construction equipment. This wrecking ball crane is super awesome and this set even gives you something to knock over with it. I was a huge fan of Construction Site (7633) from 2009, this site compliments that theme perfectly.

Pickup Tow Truck (60081) - Another take on the Lego tow truck. Nothing really great about this model though the towing mechanism looks interesting.

Snowplow Truck (60083) - I'm not entirely sure what is going on with the plow part here. I don't believe I have ever seen that element before, at least not in orange.

Racing Bike Transporter (60084) - This set it basically just a rehash of the Dirt Bike Transporter (4433) with sport bikes that feature a new motorcycle surround element. I'm fine with this. I will always buy cool motorcycle themed sets, but seriously Lego, is it too much to ask the largest tire manufacturer in the world make some slick tires for their sport bikes?

4x4 with Powerboat (60085) - This reminds me of Power Boat Transporter (4643) with a cooler, better thought out boat and 5th wheel truck hauler.

Lego City Starter Set (60086) - Another starter set, which is great. It comes with a Police ATV, Jet ski, Fire boat and the essential bad guy with inflatable raft in olive green.

Fire Starter Set (60088) - The third starter set is loaded with a bunch of great elements and 4 minifigs. The gas pump is a great little mini build and the fire-ATV is pretty cute as well, though I can't say I have ever seen an actual fire ATV being used anywhere, ever.

Chainsaw artist transforms a log into Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy

This is fun. Griffon Ramsey, an artist who works with wood and chainsaw, carved and sculpted a real life Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy from an Eastern Red Cedar tree log. She creates a pretty lifelike version of everyone's favorite tree person but I kind of wish she made a 20-feet tall version too.

You can Ramsey's finished work here.
